What is the attire for the wedding?

Accepted Answer

Formal attire is requested for the wedding activities as well as the "Toast to Townsend" later that evening. The wedding and Toast will take place inside.

For women: a floor-length gown, a fancy cocktail dress, or a dressy pantsuit
For men:  tuxedo or formal suit, collared shirt, and tie

No jeans please.

There are three airports that service the Washington D.C. area. Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport is the closest airport just 2.2 miles from SW D.C.

Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport is 28 miles from downtown D.C. Dulles International Airport is 24 miles from downtown D.C.

Our wedding will begin promptly at 4pm. We ask that guests arrive no later than 3:30pm.
